# DesiRyva AI – Code Review and Completion Status

Review date: 2026-11-03
Reviewed source: `desiryva-ai-fixed` project package available in this conversation.

## Executive summary

The supplied package is a working **SaaS platform foundation**, not a completed multi-product SaaS application. It contains the super-admin login/dashboard, tenant registration, business login/workspace, branch registry/synchronization, shared database assignment, and initial provisioning/security scaffolding.

The supplied screenshots support that tenant 1 provisioning completed, the shared database connection is active, and the `MAIN` branch was synchronized to `desiryva_business.branches`.

## Checks performed in this review

- Enumerated the project files and inspected the included PHP, configuration, SQL and documentation files.
- Ran `php -l` on all 27 PHP files in the supplied project folder: all reported no syntax errors.
- Inspected the Phase 3C read-only SQL diagnostics. They are SELECT-only checks; they have not been executed against the user's live MySQL instance as part of this review.
- Reviewed authentication, tenant context, CSRF helper, tenant database access, branch synchronization and provisioning code.

## Positive findings

- PDO prepared statements are used in the reviewed authentication, tenant and branch operations.
- Output helper `e()` uses `htmlspecialchars` with quote escaping.
- CSRF tokens are generated with `random_bytes` and verified with `hash_equals` on reviewed POST forms.
- Login regenerates the session ID after successful authentication.
- Branch operations in `branches.php` scope records by both branch ID and current tenant ID.
- The central branch registry is treated as the source of truth for synchronization.
- Provisioning completion is recorded after shared branch synchronization succeeds.

## Important gaps before production

1. **Business modules are not implemented.** CRM, ERP, HRM, POS, restaurant, hotel management, school, hospital, pharmacy and other planned product workflows are not present in this source package. The product/module registry is only a catalogue.
2. **Fine-grained permissions are not enforced throughout the app.** The current branch gate checks membership roles (`owner`/`manager`); it is not a complete permission matrix for all modules, actions and staff roles.
3. **Tenant isolation is not fully demonstrated.** The business table has tenant/branch scope columns and indexes, but every future module query must enforce tenant and branch predicates. No two-tenant adversarial integration test suite is included.
4. **Provisioner is privileged.** `config/provisioner.php` uses local XAMPP root/blank-password defaults. This must never be carried into production. Dedicated database provisioning and least-privilege grants need end-to-end testing and cleanup/rollback handling.
5. **Secrets and HTTPS settings need deployment hardening.** `session_secure` is false for local HTTP. Production must use HTTPS, secure cookies, protected configuration outside the web root where possible, and a backed-up encryption key.
6. **Installer hardening is incomplete.** `install.php` must be removed or disabled immediately after creating the first super admin.
7. **Operational controls are missing.** No complete password reset, MFA, login throttling/lockout, tenant switching UX, subscription billing lifecycle, backups/restore drills, or monitoring workflow is delivered in this package.
8. **Healthcare provisioning is not a clinical application.** It creates an empty dedicated database/user only; no clinical schema or healthcare compliance controls are supplied.
9. **Automated tests are missing.** The `tests/README.md` describes future tests, but there is no runnable unit/integration test suite in the package.

## Test status

| Area | Status |
|---|---|
| PHP syntax (27 files) | Passed |
| ZIP integrity | Passed when package was generated |
| Tenant provisioning | Supported by user's screenshots for tenant 1 |
| Main branch synchronization | Supported by user's screenshots for tenant 1 |
| SQL diagnostics | Reviewed, not executed in this environment |
| Two-tenant isolation tests | Not run / not supplied |
| Browser regression tests | Not run |
| cPanel deployment tests | Not run |
| Production security approval | Not approved |

## What is needed to finish the complete product

The next deliverable must be a full implementation, not another migration-only patch. It needs product requirements, schema/migrations, module screens, server-side authorization, tenant/branch-scoped repositories, audit events, automated tests, and deployment documentation. The exact product scope should include the planned business products, including Hotel Management System.

This reviewed ZIP is the complete set of files available in the supplied Phase 3C source package. It must not be described as the finished DesiRyva SaaS suite.
